Hi everyone and thanks for joining me! I absolutely love making more than one card at a time, especially when you can make them for more than one occasion. Making lots of simple cards really helps restock your stash when you feel it's getting a little low. Especially when the holiday season is coming around, it can be easy to forget about the other cards like get well, birthday and thank you cards that always come in handy. That's where mass producing simple yet beautiful cards can really help! So let's get started! I made four cards for each occasion; birthday, get well, missing you and thank you. I went with four different colour schemes; yellow, purple and blue, green and blue and pink. I love these colour combinations and they work for many different recipients, which is always helpful when producing multiple cards. To start off I painted my watercolour panels with Tim Holtz distress inks. I used Canson XL coldpress watercolour paper cut to 2.5" X 4". For the yellow card I used Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Scattered Straw. For the purple and blue card I used Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire, Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord. For the green and blue card I used Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Blue Print Sketch. And finally for the pink card I used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar. Be sure to check out the video to see how easily it is to blend all these beautiful colours together. Next step is to add the heat embossed sentiments to each of the panels. The stamp set I used was the Big Scripty Greetings set from Simon Says Stamp. I used my Misti stamping tool to help make the stamping process go a bit faster and began stamping the panels with versa mark ink. I applied my white embossing powder to each panel after stamping them and set it aside until they were all done. Once they were all stamped and sprinkled with embossing powder I finished them off by heat setting all of them with my Martha Stewart heat tool. After finishing the watercolour panels I put those aside and worked on the card bases. I cut sixteen kraft paper panels to 8" X 5.5" then scored and folded them at 4" to make the card bases. To make them a bit more interesting I got out my Fine Tec Mica gold watercolour set and flicked on some splatters of the Moon Gold colour (the second to last colour in the set). From there I brought back out my watercolour panels so I could add on the little ribbon accent. I wrapped the gold ribbon around the panel three times and then finished it with a bow. After all the panels were tied I completed the card by adhering the panel onto the card base using my Scotch 3M advanced tape glider. And there you go! Sixteen super easy and beautiful cards! I hope you enjoyed these cards and if you did, be sure to check out the video to see exactly how everything was done! Subscribe for future videos and as always, HAPPY CRAFTING! MATERIALSInterested in any of the materials I used to make these cards? Here's a list along with a link to where I purchased my supplies from. I am not affiliated with any of these companies. These supplies are all my personal favorites that I purchased myself. I hope these will help you and inspire you to create as well!
